Take Away Shows

As a disclaimer - I was severely hung over when I wrote this post. Its quite obvious because my sentences don't seem to make much sense. I was going to edit it, but then got too lazy. Incomplete thoughts build character, right? eeeee

Take-away shows. What a clever concept. Clever, but unoriginal – in a good way. They were inspired by the earliest version of the music video: soundies which were 3 min long musical films produced in the 40s that were used in jukeboxes in clubs and restaurants. I love getting back to roots and originals. So, heres some modern day versions of those that Blogoteque does a fantastic job of creating. They break them out into Van session (Similar to the Black Cab Sessions) and City Sessions and do great blurbs about the band and to set up a bit of a story about the taping. The sessions are also all available for download from their site. Super sweet.
